Application form for Passport and Visa services can be downloaded from the website of the Embassy www.indembkwt.org or collected from the Information Counter at the Embassy.
Applications for Passport and Visa services (except applications for visa for diplomatic/official/special passports and OCI, PIO Card and Emergency Certificate) are being accepted at the Indian Passport and Visa Application Centers (for details visit website: http://www.kw.ckgs.in/)
Fee for Passport and Visa services are accepted at the Counter in cash only. Kindly bring exact change. All original documents must be accompanied with a photocopy.
All passports issued from the Embassy of India,

Q.19 Who is PIO or Person of Indian origin?
Ans. "Person of Indian Origin” means a citizen of any country (not being a citizen of Pakistan, Bangladesh) if:
(i) he/she at any time held an Indian passport; or
(ii) he/she or either of his/her parents or grand parents or great grand parents was born in and permanently resident in India as defined in the Government of India Act, 1935, and other territories that became part of India thereafter provided neither was at any time a citizen of any of the specified countries; or
(iii) he/she is a spouse of a citizen of India or a person of Indian origin covered under (i) and (ii) above.
