An open letter to the member of India community in Kuwait

February 24, 2014

Dear Friends,

Dear Friends,

I extend my heartiest warm greeting to you and the members of your family on the happy occasion of National and Liberation Days of Kuwait.

 2.         Since my arrival in Kuwait in early December 2013, we have taken some measures for the benefit and welfare of the community. An updated telephone list of the Embassy is attached so that you could reach us on 24x7 basis.

 3.         While I have taken several measures to liberalize grant of Indian visas (e.g., 5- year multiple entry business visa, 6-month tourist visa) to Kuwaitis and non-Kuwaitis alike, there still remains an impression among some that obtaining Indian visa is difficult. Should you find anyone facing even the slightest difficulty in obtaining Indian visa, he/she can contact my office at Tel No.22561276 (Ms. Hend) or Tel No. 22543000 (Mr. Mahesh Chand), after the visa form has been filled-in online at www.indianvisaonline.gov.in.  The printed copy of the filled-in visa form should be carried by the concerned individual to the Embassy along with 2 photographs and applicable visa fee.

 4.         Our outsource centre, M/s BLS International Visa Service Company (Tel. No.22986607) would soon be launching its premium service to provide Visa-At-Your Door Step. This simple measure will help to boost trade, tourism etc. between Kuwait to India.

 5.         Lastly, I enclose few photographs of a mosque (Fatima Al-Zahra Mosque at the 6th Ring Road) in Kuwait, which looks like Taj Mahal ! You may like to visit the Mosque, if you have not done so far.

Have a great weekend!

            With best wishes,

     Yours sincerely,

        (Sunil Jain)
