In view of the calls being received from the members
of the Indian community, the Embassy of India wishes
to state that it has not issued any “advisory”
asking Indian nationals to register themselves
with it. Nevertheless, it invites the community to
visit the Embassy of India website

that allows voluntary registration of its nationals
and this facility has been available since the
launch of the website on April 16, 2006. The
Embassy has been encouraging its nationals all along
to utilise the registration facility for enabling
closer community interactions.
The
Embassy is also in touch with the Government of the
State of Kuwait to take suitable and appropriate
action against those spreading rumours.
