• Submit original passport

• Submit prescribed form for ECNR ( Click here for the categories of persons who are entitled to ECNR stamp on their passports)

• Submit application form for miscellaneous services  

• Paste one recent photograph (35 x 45 mm) on application form, and sign across with half the signature on the photograph and half on the application.

 

Categories Eligible for ECNR:

Those who have completed 3 years' stay abroad (Continuous or with break)

Graduates and higher degree holders, or Diploma holders from polytechnics

Nurses possessing qualifications recognized under the Indian Nursing Council Act,1947

Persons possessing certificates of vocational training from Government/Government recognized institutions

Wife and children of persons holding ECNR, provided wife and children are on dependent visa.

Children are granted ECNR on the basis of their parent(s) entitlement but such ECNR will be valid till they attain 24 years of age.

In case of category 2,3 or 4, applicants should submit original and photo copy of certificates. In case of category 5 applicant should submit photo copy of father / husband's passport.
