MOS Shri E. Ahamed on safety of Indians in Bahrain March 14, 2011 In response to query from Journalists regarding the safety of Indians in Bahrain, Shri E. Ahamed, Minister of State for External Affairs said that: India is closely monitoring the evolving situation in Bahrain. I am in constant touch with our Ambassador and have asked him to stay closely in touch with the Indian community. The Indian community should follow the advice of our Embassy in Bahrain, which is to keep a low profile, stay indoors and to avoid all non-essential travel within the country.
