India-Kuwait trade growing at a healthy pace The Ambassador of India, HE Mr Ajai Malhotra, called on HE Mr Ahmad Rashed Al Haroun, Minister of Commerce & Industry, on April 25, 2011. Present on the occasion was HE Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Khaldi, Undersecretary in the Ministry of Commerce & Industry.
Both sides expressed satisfaction that India-Kuwait trade was growing at a healthy pace and that non-oil bilateral trade had witnessed consistent growth since 2007 and was now approaching $2 billion per annum, while total India-Kuwait bilateral trade was $11 billion per annum. Ways and means to further boost trade volumes and utilize new investment opportunities in each other's markets were also discussed. Kuwait |
